How to open an ampoule

step 1

Hold the ampoule vertically and carefully break open the bottom end, ensuring any loose glass falls away towards the bottom. (1)

step 2

Rotate the ampoule so the top is facing downwards. Cover the top open hole (1) with your finger to block air entry, then gently break off the remaining piece (2), again ensuring it faces downwards.

step 3

Remove your finger from the top hole (1). You can now directly consume the contents from the ampoule or pour it into an empty glass for consumption.
